Starfruit Paloma and Cherry Bomb Cocktail Recipes

When life gives you lemons, you make cocktails! The entrepreneur life sometimes isn’t easy and you just have to do what it takes to take care of yourself and keep going. We missed sharing a video yesterday, but today we share two recipes! Star Fruit Paloma and Cherry Bomb. These two tea cocktails are super easy to make and truly delicious.

Ingredients for the Starfruit Paloma

  • 1 tsp of Golden Star green tea steeped in 4 oz of hot water for 4 min. Use at room temperature
  • 1/4 lime
  • 1.5 teaspoons agave nectar
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coarse kosher salt
  • Crushed ice
  • Sparkling water


Combine the tea, the juice of a lime, tequila, and agave nectar in a shaker.

If you have star fruit, slice one starfruit for garnishes with slits so they sit on the side of the jars.

Combine the salt and sugar in a shallow dish. Slide the sliced starfruit around the rim of a mason jars and dip them in the salt and sugar mixture.

Fill the jar with ice. Pour the blended juice and tequila over the ice and top it off with sparkling water.

Ingredients for the Cherry Bomb Cocktail

  • 1 oz coffee cherry tea in 5 oz water. Steep for 10 min and use at rom temperature
  • 2 oz ginger beer
  • Few drops of lime
  • 1 tea spoon of agave nectar
  • Lime to garnish
  • 1 oz vodka

Coffee cherries (also known as Cascara) was for the longest time a waste product in the coffee production and created a lot of headaches and pollution. Thankfully, that has changed and several farms as treating it differently today. They are drying the fruits to produce different byproduct and create infusions.


Steep the Cascara tea for 10 min in hot water. Once ready dissolve the agave nectar. In an old fashioned glass, pour ice, ginger beer, the vodka, the tea and garnish with the lemon slice.
